I love beauty, and a summer beauty haul. In particular, I love skincare. I cannot say I´m a huge makeup person. I have a routine and I stick with it, only occasionally switching up makeup products. With skincare, I´m the opposite. I love to try anything and everything, jump on trends, and test out different brands. One could say I´m a bit of a skincare junkie.
That said, my skincare routine, in general, is uncomplicated. In the morning, I usually do a serum, Vitamin C oil, a moisturizer and a sunscreen. At night I´ll do serum, moisturizer and either an oil or a sleeping mask. Those are my go-to routines. You can´t overcomplicate it because it gets to be too much to maintain. I never spend more than five minutes on it unless I´m doing an in-depth skincare day on a Sunday or something. Which I do about once a month.
Amazon currently has an incredible deal on their Summer Beauty Haul from May 13-19, 2024 where you get $10 back in Amazon credits when you spend $50 or more on beauty. It includes everything from basic skincare to the Dyson Airwrap. Don´t wait, check it out now!
My Summer Beauty Haul Picks
I went through the Summer Beauty Haul products and picked out a bunch of items that I have tried and used and liked. I do not recommend anything that I haven´t tried myself. Here are my top picks!
- Bio-Oil Skincare Oil – This is my go-to body oil for preventing stretch marks as well as reducing the appearance of stretch marks and scars. It smells so good and it has a slight sparkle to it as well.
- Innis Free Sunscreen – For an easy, relatively affordable sunscreen (and overall skincare brand) there is nothing better than Innis Free. I´ve used this brand for about five years and it´s a great affordable option.
- Laniege Sleeping Masks – I´ve tried many of Laneige´s Sleeping Masks and I really love them. I use it almost every night. Right now I have this one, but I´ve used the blue one in the past. They´re super hydrating.
- LaRoche Posay Face Sunscreen – You cannot do skincare without sunscreen and LaRoche Posay, while on the pricier side, is one of the best.
- LaRoche Posay Tinted Sunscreen – I used a tinted moisturizer, so I use the regular LaRoche Posay sunscreen, but this is another great option for the beach, for example, when you want a little coverage but a beachy look.
- Sulwhasoo Serum – Man, I love Sulwhasoo. It´s expensive, no doubt, but it´s great quality and you won´t regret it.
- BaByliss Pro Hair Dryer – This is a relatively affordable, durable, great hairdryer option that I´ve used many, many times.
- Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer – If you´re looking to invest, the Dyson hair dryer dries so fast and is compact. I do not own one (I wish), but I´ve used them at friends´ and at airport lounges and they´re a dream.
- Sensodyne Whitening Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth – This is so random, but teeth are also beauty right?! This is the only toothpaste I will use because I have very sensitive gums. Great buy.
